Despite having chosen Santorini as the location for our wedding, we had no contacts in the island at all. We hired Kivotos Travel based on online reviews, and it was the best choice we ever made!!!

Words simply cannot express how incredibly amazing Margarita was!!! She was providing advice from the very beginning (up to 8 months before). She always responded promptly to emails and phone calls and was at all times incredibly professional. She even offered to pick up, drop off or return items for us to avoid incurring additional fees. We really appreciated this.
The staff of Kivotos Travel took all of the worry out of the planning for the big day. They helped set up a workable schedule and otherwise totally "DE-STRESSED" everything and everyone. Margarita brought to my attention little details that I NEVER would have thought of and before I could panic, suggested a perfect solution or solutions. Don't know what we would have done without her!

I would definitely recommend her if you are a disorganized person, as she would be very helpful in organizing you; but I almost would rather recommend her for organized, detail oriented people (like myself) as she will step in and let you relax and enjoy your wedding day.

Hello!! I've been meaning to write to you but wanted to wait until I had time to sit down and think so that I wouldn't forget anything. Our trip was amazing and I want you to know how much I appreciate all your time, hard work and attention to all the little personal details that made our honeymoon and wedding so special. Brandon and I never wanted a big wedding or the stress that comes with planning one- to us, getting married was about the two of us and our small ceremony at Santa Irini was absolutely perfect. Our 10 days in Greece were the ideal start to the rest of our adventure together and an experience we will never forget. Now that it's over I know for certain I never could have planned a wedding or a trip like that on my own and I thank you for taking care of everything. From start to finish the trip went so smoothly- everything was on time, and everyone was so friendly and professional. Truly, everyone we met was overly kind and welcoming; the drivers, tour guides, hotel staff, hairdresser, masseuse, officiant, photographer and of course, Sophia and Rosa from your agency. I've traveled to over 14 countries in Europe and the people of Greece are by far the nicest I've ever encountered!

I don't even know where to begin. The Dana Villas were gorgeous- our room was so charming and the view was unbelievable. It is exactly what comes to mind when you think "honeymoon". We were completely comfortable relaxing at the pool or on our patio, but also close enough to walk to the clubs in Fira when we wanted to go out at night. I wanted to move right in and never go home!

Please thank the florist and the bakery for us! The bouquet was beautiful and that cake was unforgettable. Any chance we can get a recipe?? The music you played during the ceremony was great, if you have the time I'd love a copy of it or a list of the songs so I can make my own CD. Give our thanks to George the photographer as well, he was so fun and the pictures are stunning - everyone we've shown them to agrees. I was nervous about the video- only because I don't normally like to watch & hear myself on film -but now that we've gotten home and watched it I am so happy that we have it. Thank you so much for that wonderful and thoughtful gift and for champagne glasses too- we plan to toast with them on our anniversary each year.

Dinner at the Sphinx and the sunset cruise were both so romantic. We are absolutely in love with Santorini and hope to return there in the future. We were a bit overwhelmed when we first got to Athens, the buzz of the big city was a bit of a shock after spending 5 days on the quiet cliffs of Santorini. But once we settled in we enjoyed our tour of the ruins and our many dinners in the Plaka...but it just couldn't compare to Santorini!

After all our emails for over the months I was so happy to finally meet you. Every last detail was attended to with such care and you were so sweet and wonderful through the whole process. My favorite surprise was the shower of rose petals you threw on us when the minister said "kiss the bride". You really have a special talent for your job and I can't thank you enough for letting me just relax and enjoy the moment while you did all the hard work.

I have recently married in Santorini and I can truly say that it was the most amazing day of my life. When we decided to get married my husband wanted the wedding to take place on a boat and after searching the internet I came across Santorini and an 18th Century Sailing boat (perfect).

The website I went on was www.weddingsantorini.com. Several e-mails later Maria Renieri (my wedding planner) with Kivotos Travel in Santorini, started the ball rolling in arranging our wedding. I must admit I was worried planning my whole wedding via e-mail but Maria answered any worries and questions I had, she booked everything for us, the boat, the hotels, cake, flowers, photographer, hairdresser everything. Even if there is something different or unusual that you want Maria would find a way to sort it out for you nothing at all is any trouble for her.

When we arrived in Santorini, we were met by Rosa who also works at Kivotos Travel and taken to our hotel, my son and his girlfriend were already in Santorini and also wanted to meet us at airport with champagne and flowers, Maria organized that for them it was absolutely lovely.

On the day of the wedding all guests were picked up and taken to the port I arrived a bit after with my daughter. The ceremony on board the boat was beautiful, once the mayor had disembarked we all set sail on a sunset cruise and had the most amazing meal on board (my compliments definitely go to the boats chef). Sofia (also from Kivotos Travel) was there to ensure our day ran smoothly, she was great. (They even ensured we were back in port and driven to a nice pub in Thira for the England v Sweden game) now you can't get better than that!!!

The whole day was the best day we have had in our lives and I would strongly recommend using Maria to plan any wedding in Santorini she is a truly wonderful person who can make anyone's day special and unique and we will be eternally thankful to her.

I felt the need to write to you regarding my recent wedding in Santorini on 04/08/08. I would like to praise my wedding planner and to give future brides a bit of guidance if they are unsure or worried about using Kivotos to plan their wedding.

Like most brides the thought of getting married in front of beautiful scenery and to be guaranteed lovely weather is of great importance for their big day. However the thought of allowing somebody else to take care of your big day for you filled my family and me with worry.

I did not know which company to choose as there are so many out there organising weddings in Santorini, but I searched various bulletin boards on the internet where brides and their families shared their experiences of the wedding planners in Santorini. The wedding planners at Kivotos were praised by everybody. I did not see one bad comment, so I decided to trust the experience of others and contact Kivotos.

I was allocated Margarita and she was absolutely fantastic. All of my worries were forgotten and I could concentrate on being excited for the day rather than worried. She was always happy to answer any of my questions and was very friendly yet professional.

When I arrived in Santorini and met Margarita she again made me feel at ease, taking me and my husband to be to the ceremony and reception venue. We knew we had made the perfect choices for our wedding and had picked the perfect company to arrange it.

Due to my worrying nature I had arranged rehearsals for my hair and makeup. I was very impressed by the hairdresser, she did exactly what I wanted and was a lovely lady. The makeup artist was amazing. She was a wonderful lady, very fluent in English and highly qualified. I remember thinking to myself that Kivotos could have arranged anybody off the street to do my makeup but they didn't – they only used the best.

My big day arrived and everything went to plan. My bridesmaids, my mother and my mother-in-law were all very impressed with the hair and makeup and I think like me they were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the job they did. The ceremony venue (Santo Winery) was set out perfectly, exactly how I had discussed with Margarita. The guests were stunned with the views. Then we went on to the reception venue (Pyrgos Taverna) and again everybody was commenting on how perfect it was. The photographer took my new husband and I for photographs and again I was very impressed with the photographer. He was very informal, made us all feel at ease and was not over-intrusive. One of my worries was that I may not have been able to express to the photographer a few of the shots that I had in my mind due to a language barrier. The photographer was Australian and so this was not an issue and we had a good laugh with him discussing sports.

The meal and the entertainment were fantastic and I cannot think of anything that could have made our big day any better. My guests have made comments saying that I could have spent millions and the wedding would not have been better than it was. It really was perfect in every way. Family keep saying how hard I must have worked for the day that we had and I constantly remind them that all I did was email Margarita. The hard work and planning was down to her and those at Kivotos.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kivotos to anybody thinking of a wedding in stunning Santorini.
